Welcome, friend! I’m Libby Paige Lyon, a writer, advocate, and dream-builder who lives at the crossroads of chronic illness, storytelling, mental health, and imagination. My hope is that when you land here, you feel both seen and welcomed — this is a space for connection as much as creation. As a former practicing child/adolescent psychotherapist, advocating for the rights and safety of minors has been my calling for decades.
Here you’ll find: Personal essays on healing, resilience, creativity, and the messy beauty of being human — especially while navigating chronic illness. Reflections from my work as a child mental health clinician, where I spent years supporting children and teens through trauma and transformation. Updates on my dark fantasy saga, Tides of Fire. Book #1, Rise of the Phoenix; publish and release planned for early-mid 2026. Ideas about the future of care, technology, and education — exploring how we might live with more compassion, and how AI could empower young people to thrive.
Everything here is free to read. This is about sharing, connection, and building roots. In time, I’ll expand into digital guides, workbooks, staff milieu training courses & materials, and creative projects you can hold in your hands.
When I’m not reading and writing, I’m drawn to the water. I adore the ocean, and I’m happiest when paddleboarding, swimming, or simply sitting by the shore, letting the waves remind me of rhythm, resilience, and renewal. The sea grounds me, fuels my imagination, and shapes much of the world I create.
I’d love for you to follow along, reflect, and maybe see pieces of your own story in mine. — Libby Paige 💙
